When considering key cutting machines, you first need to decide whether you wish to "Cut to Copy" or "Cut to Code".
Cut to Copy is where there is an existing key, and you need to manufacture another key. This is usually achieved with a mechanical key cutting machine. Cut to Copy is where the existing key is lost and a new key needs to be produced from a key code.
There are 3 main styles of key cutting machine required to cover most vehicle applications:
• Tibbe for Ford and Jaguar
• Cylinder - Where cuts are made to the edge of the key
• Laser - Where a track is cut into the face of the key.

This revolutionary Blitz™ code milling machine is very simple to use and extremely
versatile. It cuts by actual manufacturers' depths and spaces. There is no need to convert to
micrometer readings.
With its rotating cutter head, the Blitz™ can make high security angle
cuts. With optional accessories the Blitz™ can cut flat steel keys, Medeco® Biaxial®, Schlage
Primus®, as well as many other specialty keys.
