Common Rail diesel systems are rapidly increasing with nearly all new vehicles equipped with an electronic diesel system.
These systems need diagnostic test equipment to read and clear memorised fault codes, but this is only half the story, as you often need additional equipment to test pressures and flows at component level to ensure you have determined the faulty component before removal.
