Job Description : Hickleys are a leading Independent Garage Equipment company based in the Southwest with 40yrs experience in providing all types of GE locally & nationally, from design, installation, quality products, service, repair & calibration.

Responsibilities and Duties
The role will involve all aspects of being a Garage Equipment engineer including installation, preventative maintenance, calibrations & emergency breakdowns on the full range of GE equipment including Vehicle lifts, Compressors, Tyre equipment & MOT equipment along with much more.

Qualifications and Skills
Good working knowledge & experience of the mechanical engineering environment including Hydraulics & Pneumatics with a good understanding of Electrics. Experience in Servicing/Repairs of Garage Equipment or a background in Plant Maintenance or similar would be advantageous as would present or past GEA accreditation. Works well within a team of other engineers & Service controllers. Self motivated & ability to work unsupervised with a "can do" attitude. Prepared for overnight stays from home if required. Experienced driver with full UK Driving Licence, ideally with trailer licence addition.

Job Description : Hickleys are a leading Independent Garage Equipment company based in the South West with 40yrs experience in providing all types of GE locally & nationally, from design, installation, quality products, service & repair & calibrations.
We are looking for an able and ambitious person to join our Taunton based Garage Equipment team and learn to become an equipment engineer.

Ideally, you will be mechanically minded, determined to learn with good social skills. Possessing electrical and computer skills would be an advantage. The ability to drive is essential.
The position is full-time with overtime opportunities and occasional nights away and an excellent opportunity to build a career with a leading local company.

Job Title : Business Administrator Apprentice (Level 3)

Job Description : The role of a business administrator contributes to the efficiency of an organisation through support of functional areas, working across teams and resolving issues as requested. The flexibility and responsiveness required allows the apprentice to develop a wide range of skills.

Main duties to include;
Using a variety of IT software packages including Microsoft Office.
Answering the telephone and dealing with enquiries.
Provide excellent customer service.
Problem solving.
Producing documents.
Preparing notes.
Organising and co-ordinating events and meetings.
Developing and delivering presentations.
Providing reception services.
Using office equipment.
Setting up and maintaining filing systems.
Updating information and managing projects.
General administration duties.
Dealing with enquiries, responding professionally with appropriate verbal communications.
Ensure data entry is carried out with a high level of accuracy.
Handling of monies and petty cash.
Maintain filing systems.
Statement work.
Telephone work to include chasing of payment, payment issues and updating of system memos.
Update database systems.

The role is expected to develop to include additional tasks and responsibilities during the term of the apprenticeship.

Will be based in Taunton so will be required to start at 8.30am.

Training;
The training provider will be Bridgwater & Taunton College.
Applications for this apprenticeship are being processed by The Bridgwater & Taunton College.
L3 Apprenticeship Standard No. 55 Business Administrator;
Level 3 Diploma for Business Administrator.
Level 2 Functional Skills in English, Math's and ICT, if required (Exemptions apply).

An initial assessment will need to take place in order to decide on the appropriate training package.
Support to develop and demonstrate technical and wider sector-related knowledge to underpin competence within the Business Administrator Apprenticeship.
