Deadlocks

The SVL series of Deadlocks leads the field for security, reliability and design and is the preferred manual locking system used by many vehicle and fleet owners keen to protect their vehicles and its contents.

In an SVL kit, both the rear barn door and the side sliding door include a “hook” style catch for the highest security level. The Deadlock system is a mechanical locking that throws a hook into a keep that securely locks the doors against attempted theft.

The lock is controlled by a restricted high security key with cylinders that are anti-drill, anti-pick and anti-snap. The range of SVL Deadlock kits is increasing all the time and covers most light commercial vehicles in use today.

Each SVL lockset has been carefully designed with years of R&D, using the experience of installers around the country to create vehicle specific kits that offer the very best security. A tailored installation kit with a strong housing ensures a perfect fit and is able to be completed quickly and with the minimum cutting and adaption of the vehicle bodywork.

The SVL range features the largest rear barn door and side sliding door hook of any manufacturer and this ensures the greater resistance from the doors being forcibly prized apart.

Each kit includes everything required to successfully install a SVL deadlock system to the chosen vehicle including, fixtures, fittings, bespoke housing, Deadlocks and instructions.

In addition, we have a range of front door dead locks to offer the greatest all-round protection. These front door locks can be fitted as a separate fitting, or together with the rear and side doors. These can also be keyed alike with the rear doors if requested ans purchased at the same time.

Recommended Installers

Whilst the SVL locks can be installed successfully using the detailed and easy to follow fitting instructions, installers always benefit from attending a training course to learn the features and benefits of the products, the best installation methods and tricks of the trade offering “best practice” skills.

The one-day SVL Installation training course is held regularly at our training centre in Taunton and once trained you will be added to our website as a “recommended installer”.

Replacement Keys

Replacement keys can be ordered, pre-cut. Please supply your key number when ordering. If you have registered you key set with us, we can provide the key number if you specify the vehicle VRM.
